Ace Frehley Collectibles Back in the Groove
Any old metal head or KISS Army freak is probably wondering what has happened to Ace Frehley. well, it was just announced that he is in the process of getting his first solo record out, hopefully by the end of this mouth of April, 2008. This will be the first solo project by Ace since 1990. I suspect you will start to see tons of Ace Frehley and KISS collectibles starting to make there way to the market forefront very soon.
Of course KISS lead man and bass player, Gene Simmons has been busy with his real life version of the Osbourne's as of late. Gene Simmons Family Jewels is one of the networks most watched shows. While everyone is swooping in to grab the mainstream stuff, it is not too late to beat the market to some vintage Ace Frehley collectibles. Autographs, guitar picks, signature Gibson Les Paul guitars and even those vintage slippers that Spencer's put out many, many years ago.
Anyone remember the KISS trading cards that Topps put out? Those trading cards are probably one one the hottest card collectible out there right now. the KISS trading cards 1978 series is very hard to find and I highly suggest beating the masses to them. the latest Ace Frehley tour will likely becoming about fairly soon as he played the House of Blues in Chicago on April fools day.
If you are just starting to collect, I highly suggest starting small with guitar picks or autographed memorabilia. most of the great collectibles are starting to show up on eBay and also in big city memorabilia shops. Set your budget as not to spend crazily on the items you are looking for. Halloween costumes are great to start with and fairly inexpensive as well. another great avenue to consider is some rare vinyl releases of some of the bands earlier work. Rest assured as the buzz gets bigger about the upcoming tour, there will be no shortage of items, but the prices will likely begin to climb. So dust off those elevator shoes and start collecting today.
