If you are Wanting to visit an additional Island in Thailand apart from the typical Phuket, Krabi
or Phi Phi, I believe you really should try Koh Chang. My wife and I visited many Thailand forum and
were told that Koh Chang is one particular of the greatest places to go.
We booked accommodation (2 nights) and all we
essential now was transport to get to Koh Chang as we reside in Bangkok.
To get there, it was going to be a four hour bus ride from the eastern bus
terminal in Ekkamai, Bangkok and a 1 hour ferry. The total price of the
transport was under 1000 baht for the two of us.
If you needed to take your car to Koh Chang, you can as the ferry can also
take vehicles to and from the island.
Soon after a long trip, we eventually created it to Koh Chang, I was excited as my
close friends have told me about how nice Koh Chang is. Right after we got off the
ferry we were met by songthaew's (Pickup truck bus/taxi) to take us to
our resort, the road to get to the resort was very windy and in a negative
state, so if you plan on driving, please take care.
We got to our resort and it was truly stunning, our bungalow was 20
meters from a nice white sandy beach, the beach was on our resort, so
there was a single a couple of individuals there which was good.
The water was crystal clear and the beach was spotless, it was wonderful
place to loosen up for the rest of the day, we noticed that Koh Chang is not above crowded with
tourists which is excellent as you can truly loosen up on the beach peacefully.
We heard that the nightlife right here is not actually that huge, but who wants
a nightlife on a nice island which their is so several actions to do
for the duration of the day.
So we booked a snorkeling tour about other modest island all around Koh Chang,
although their is some good spots to snorkel, you can find a lot far better spots
down south of Thailand, but it was nonetheless a decent tour to go on.
The individuals on Koh Chang seemed to be a great deal much more friendly then what you
usually see in well-known Phuket or Koh Samui, the smiles on the locals faces
seemed a great deal far more genuine, Koh Chang has a really fantastic atmosphere to it.
Their appears to be a lot of improvement going on now in Koh Chang as it is
obtaining a lot more popular with tourists, so I would suggest to go there
now, as in a few many years the island will be crowded with tourists.
So if you are in Thailand and want to go to an island that is no over crowded with tourists,
I would go to Koh Chang, only the frequent travelers know about Koh Chang. Why go in which the
main crowd is? You will have a much much better and peaceful knowledge in Koh Chang, following all
that is what being on vacation is about appropriate?

you already asked this query ..... unless of course there just happens to be two households traveling from Michigan to Thailand in March and the two are searching for advice on Yahoo answers. i already told you that Ko Chang is a stunning island that is not over run by tourists. look at my previous answer for that, im not repeating myself. if you want accurate Thai flavor without having western influence ....... then there is merely one location to go .... northeast Thailand. Khao Yai National Park, Korat (Nakhon Ratchasima). Phi Mai, Loei. of course none of those locations have beaches or bungalows on the beach ..... but neither does Chiang Mai and its on your list.
